Ticklish Penguin Makes Odd Noises

The latest animal video to go viral shows an adorable little penguin at the Cincinnati Zoo who seems to delight in being scratched by one of his keepers. In fact, he likes it so much he produces a completely bizarre noise.
It's hard to watch this and not imagine that the bird is actually just a little, black-and-white human being. Not only is the video super cute, it's another reminder that many animals aren't so different from us (which is an odd idea for many people).

adorable!!! es sencillamente adorable! no solo despierta en mi montones de ternura sino que también me hace desearle un habitad digno! so cute! its just adorable, make me feel tenderness but also make me wishes it a better place to grow up and being free, a decent habitat...

Awwww!!! I love how he walks and moves his cute wittle tail but that was so cute and adorable how he he quickly goes to the hand to be scratched. Such a cute wittle penguin!!

Aww,how cute! Jack Hanna ought to take "Cookie" for an appearance on Letterman with his unique noise when scratched!

I agree with Nora. Notice that he doesn't react when scratched on the back, but when he's scratched on the belly he reacts with motion. Looks like mating behavior to me...cute penguin, though.
