This Sloth Eats Poop

Sloths, the slow-moving, arboreal vegetarians from South American are generally well-loved by most people. After all, the are kind of cute. Some new research, however, has revealed some shocking new sloth behavior: eating human poop!
Two-toed sloths in Peru have been documented climbing into latrine holes and slurping up the contents, poop, urine, toilet paper and all. Apparently, as disgusting as it sounds to us, the sloths have learned that this is a way to get vital nutrients.
It's a world full of Animal Oddities!
