It's a Mexican hairless dog with an unpronounceable name. Xoloitzcuintli is the breed.

Its too skinny to be a Mexican hairless dog. Although I do agree with the dog part. It could just be a couple of dogs with a mutated gene resulting in the dogs having no hair. The ears of the dog would look bigger without hair just like with the sphinx cat.

actually, it is a raccoon with a congenital disease. i live in texas, and saw all of this on the news. it's not any type of dog.

lol its much bigger then a raccoon, i believe its a dog, and there are many breeds of hairless dogs. Also there are many homeless dogs in Texas. it was probably just a poor dog looking for food and shelter and was frightened by the animal control officers (hence why it would growl). Definatley not a chupacabra, or however it is spelled.

Later info was released after dna testing and it was a coyote/red wolf cross which they said accounted for it's appearance.

That's a dog that has been in many dog fights--look at all the bite marks. I saw a dog like that who was used to train. They are left to die, lose their hair. They are probably using that big warehouse for illegal dog fighting.

These are a really ugly animal but it definitely looks like it was in so much pain. This is so very sad.

So creepy looking. But it definitely looks like some kind of undernourished dog. Maybe someone dropped ones off that they had used in dog fights. That would explain all the bites.

This is a Mexican Hairless dog. I just found one so painfully skinny I am afraid to touch him and he looks like this. Poor things was starving and scared to deaths. What a terrible way to die!
