If you haven't caught any episodes of Animal Planet's squirm-inducing series Monsters Inside of Me, you should.  Here's a short video from the series, complete with horrifyingly real animation, about a strange creature that could invade your body to gorge on your blood from the inside out.  Even stranger, you could catch it from your pet cat.
