We tend to think of wild animals in a slightly idealistic way.  We think that they seek out only the most pure habitats that are completely untouched by humans.  In reality, many species are a lot less picky than we think—which is a good thing, since there are few places left on the planet not impacted by humans.

Check out this fun site which collects photos of birds nesting in some really bizarre places like plastic bags, on top of clothespins and inside recycling bins!
