An adorable stray dog ran approximately 1,700km (that's more than 1100 miles!!) with some cyclists on their way to Tibet, after befriending them when they gave him a drumstick.

When the group of cyclists first encountered the little stray pooch, who has now been given the name Xiao Sa, they fed it a bone, yet did not expect what came next.  The tenacious pooch proceeded to follow the cyclists for 24 days from southwest China’s Sichuan province to Lhasa in Tibet, running 1,700km and climbing up 12 mountains.
