Two-Faced Kitten Kept Alive Despite Being Called an "Abomination That Should Be Put Down"

Nash Hand and his wife Amanda Forsythe, of Port Charlotte, FL, are the recent parents to a two-faced kitten, aptly named Harvey Dent after the two-faced villain from the Batman comics. Unsure of what to do, Amanda reached out to Craigslist for support (big mistake!), and the response was anything but that. “I should put it down, that it is an abomination, that I am an evil person because I would let such a thing live like that. It's a beast because it's a black cat with two faces," she says of the responses she received.

Who ever said this poor little kitty was an abomination and should be put down should be ashamed of themselves. As long as this sweet little thing is otherwise healthy then it should be loved and nurtured and provided with a happy little life!!!

How can others be so cruel?? Would you kill a child born like that??? I'm glad you are doing everything you can for the little one.. It wasn't his fault he was born that way.. I see no reason to put this kitten dowm.As long has its able to eat & the Vets says its ok health wise. Its no differant than a child whos born with a birth defect!We don't put them down!!!I wish the family all the best with their new litter!!Some people need to shut their mouth or just NOT comment.Must be everyone in their family is "Perfect"Thank God for that.It would be a shame for any child with health issues having to put up with a Perfectionist for a parent!Even the thought of them raising child is questionable!Hope this little kitten is able to grow up & be healthy & happy! I guess those same people feel the same way about conjoined twins or humans born with genetic oddities. Maybe she should contact Ripley's Believe it or not. All sick joking aside, as long as the kitten is healthy and not suffering, it deserves a chance since it is obviously already in a loving home.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that precious little kitten. Ever new life deserves a chance to live. Two faces makes this kitten no less deserving than any other kitten. The majority of people nowadays are sickening and by saying the awful things they said about this kitten they are proving THAT THEY ARE THE ABOMINATIONS.Definately proving why I prefer animals over people and always will! I thank the owners of this kitten for giving it a chance and seeing its uniqueness and giving it a loving and caring home. I hate to say this but giving what some of the sick people out there think about this kitten, it might be a wise idea for him or her to be an inside kitty.I would hate for someone to do anything evil to this kitty but I wouldn't put it past them. Keep this little one safe!

Wow i have to say i have never seen that. I have heard of it but just never seen it and like yall i would not dream of putting the cat down just because it is different. The only way i would ever consider that an option is if i absolutely had no other choice because it was suffering to bad and the vets couldnt help it but other than that HECK NO!! Dont listen to what other people have to say. Follow your heart.

i am so angry at the draconian attatude, of the nasty people who called this precious life an abomination. this wee baby didnt ask to come into this world with two faces but will no doubt be just as loving as any kitten born with only one. you and you know who you are, the nasty ones, i remember a creature like you called Hitler who wanted disabled people killed at birth. you should be ashamed of yourselves, do you feel this way towards those humans who have a disablility as well? remember this if you are looking for perfection you wont find it in anything everything has some imperfection even a slight one, yours is obvious.

This cat is beautiful animal I spend half my time rescuing taking care of fixing and finding homes for them. I can't believe animal planet advertises for breeders over 4 million cats were put down last yr. Because of breeders they are a there is no reason to breed there are more than enough to go around
